Who we are

Protect Your Kin helps families work out how much life insurance they need. A licensed adviser looks at the whole financial picture and walks you through the coverage that fits it. We are not an insurer and do not issue policies.

Protect Your Kin is a trade name of Sakred Business Solutions LLC.

We operate protectyourkin.com and the advertising that brings people to it. When you submit our questionnaire, a licensed insurance adviser reviews it and talks your options through with you. They are licensed in the state you live in, and they may be on our team or at a licensed insurance agency we provide your request to.

Not an insurer, and not advice

We are not an insurance company. We do not underwrite, quote, or bind coverage, and no policy or contract is issued by us. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and nothing on it is a recommendation for your particular situation. Any recommendation you receive comes from the licensed adviser you speak with, in that conversation, based on your full circumstances.

How we are compensated

You never pay us. If you decide to apply and a carrier issues the policy, the carrier pays the adviser or their agency a commission out of the policy's pricing. It isn't an extra line on your bill; the premium is the carrier's rate either way.

We may provide your request to a licensed adviser or agency outside our own team, and they pay us for it. You never pay for that either.

Licensing and availability

Insurance is regulated state by state. Every adviser who talks with you holds the license required to discuss and sell insurance in the state you told us you live in. Nobody unlicensed handles a request, and we do not take a request forward where we cannot determine the state.

Products described on this site are not available in all states, and availability, features, and pricing vary by state and by carrier. Descriptions on this site are general; the contract or policy issued by the carrier governs.

About the coverage discussed

Life insurance policies are issued by licensed insurance carriers and are subject to that carrier's underwriting, approval, terms, and exclusions. Premiums depend on age, health, the amount, and the type of coverage, and are set by the carrier, not by us or by the adviser.

Term life pays a benefit only if death occurs during the term and builds no cash value. Permanent policies such as whole life and indexed universal life carry ongoing charges and, for indexed products, interest credits subject to caps, participation rates, and floors. Final expense policies are small whole-life policies that may carry a graded benefit in the first years.

About the figure on our site

The coverage target shown at the end of the questionnaire multiplies the income you enter by the number of years you choose. It is an arithmetic starting point for a conversation, not a needs analysis, a quote, an offer, or a statement of eligibility. A licensed adviser adjusts it for debts, savings, dependants, and existing coverage.

Statistics and market history

Figures on our home page are drawn from the sources listed at the bottom of that page. Market history is shown for illustration, uses price returns unless stated otherwise, and does not predict future results.

Who receives your request

We may sell or provide your request to licensed insurance advisers and agencies, who may contact you by phone or email about it. They may be outside companies that pay us for your request, or our own team and the licensed insurance agency under common ownership with us. If you choose to apply, your application goes to the insurance carrier you apply with. We use service providers to host this site, deliver our calls, emails, and messages, and measure advertising. Your consent to receive text messages and your text-messaging opt-in data are not sold to or shared with any third party for their marketing. Details are in our Privacy Policy. Questions: privacy@protectyourkin.com.

Advertising

We advertise on social platforms and search engines. Our advertisements identify Protect Your Kin as the advertiser. We are not connected with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any government agency, employer, lender, or insurance carrier, and no advertisement of ours should be read as suggesting otherwise.
